Today, we visited Badavut Beach to see the natural habitat of Ayvalık Çemeni, a rare plant that grows only in Ayvalık. Its flowering season had already passed, so we only found its seeds.
We picked flowers like Sea Lavender, Daisies, and Poppies, and enjoyed a lovely picnic by the sea.
Next up: we’re going to paint the flowers we collected and share our artwork! Through these small field trips, we’re getting to know the unique plants that grow in Ayvalık.
