The Olive Seeds Association conducts all of its endeavors within the framework of these principles. Our association, the Olive Seeds, has been tirelessly working for 11 years to support the upbringing and education of today’s children, who will become tomorrow’s youth, and to reach out to socio-economically disadvantaged children by collaborating to foster a developing and productive society. This labor-intensive, extensive journey embarked upon by the Olive Seeds Association is a robust social movement built on the belief that “a child’s growth changes the world,” where NGOs, volunteers, artists, educators, individual donors, local merchants, and the public sector collaborate together.
In Ayvalık, over the course of 11 years, the number of children reached amounts to 4300 families, encompassing approximately 17,200 individuals including their immediate surroundings. The support network involves the State Symphony Orchestras, Opera and Ballet artists, academicians, individual donors, Ayvalık Municipality, District Public Institutions, supportive merchants, and the Private Sector, along with a dedicated volunteer community of over 500 Olive Seeds supporters, close to 10 universities, and around 200 volunteer students. This collaboration has established an extensive sphere of influence throughout Turkey.
